Find Geometry Dash levels by ID and creator

If someone recommends a community level, ask for the level ID as well as its name and creator. Search with that ID in the game where level search is available, and compare the creator and details before playing. A name in a video title alone is a weak way to identify the exact level or revision being discussed.

RobTop's level FAQ notes that a server glitch can make a level discoverable only by ID. An unsuccessful name search therefore does not prove the level is gone. Record the ID in your own notes so you can return to the same target.

Choose by the skill you want to improve

Your goalA useful selection test
Read unfamiliar patternsChoose a level where you can follow what causes each failure.
Improve one transitionPick a section you can repeat without a long approach.
Build consistencyReturn to a nearly completed level instead of switching after every death.
Explore decoration or musicPreview several options without making a completion commitment.

These are selection suggestions, not an official difficulty formula. A rating is a starting signal rather than a promise that two levels will feel equally difficult to you. For very high-end community rankings, read the separate Demonlist guide; that project is different from in-game rating and discovery.

Turn a level into a manageable session

For a Classic level, choose a start and end percentage, then estimate how long one attempt and a brief review take. The practice planner calculates the number of full cycles that fit your time budget. A section spanning 20 percentage points is not necessarily twice as long or twice as difficult as one spanning 10. This percentage-based planner does not model Platformer progress.

After a few attempts, note whether the same mistake repeats. Practice the approach into that point as well as the obstacle itself, then reconnect it to a longer run. Keep your notes specific enough that tomorrow's session can start with a clear task.

If online content will not load

Try another level to distinguish a single-level issue from a wider download problem. The official FAQ identifies connection and server issues as possible causes and advises waiting before retrying in some cases. Avoid rapidly repeating the same request. If a downloaded level appears empty, the FAQ recommends exiting and using its refresh control to redownload. For a broader introduction, see how to play.
